Todd Bond

Secretary

Todd has served on the Board of Directors since 2002.  He and his wife Tammy live in Birmingham with their two children, Brad and Anna.  They attend Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.  Todd received his Master of Ministry from St. Michael’s Seminary in 2012.  He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.  Todd has over 20 years of experience in the planning, design and preconstruction of commercial and residential projects.  He currently works as Director of Planning and Design at Bayer Properties.  Todd took his first trip to Tanzania in 2002.

Angela Bovee

Executive Director

Shortly after her first trip to Tanzania, in July 2005, Angela joined the Board of Directors and became Director of Missions and Fund Raising.   A year later, in 2006, she became Executive Director of the ministry.   Angela grew up in Birmingham and worked with various ministries through out the mid 80’s and 90’s.   In 2010, Angela and her husband Darrell bought a franchise and moved to Guntersville, AL.  They own and operate Servpro of Marshall County.  In 2011, they became members of New Covenant Baptist Church.  For over 10 years Angela has worked with RHMi, and has coordinated and led the mission teams.  She handles all the logistics of the trips and she and the Board members work closely with Pastor Rejoice Ndalima on the various mission projects that are conducted by the mission teams.

Judy Branch

Treasurer

Judy had volunteered for several years with RHMi before joining the Board of Directors in 2014.  She and her husband live in Springville, AL and attend Faith Community Fellowship Church in Trussville.  She has two children married to wonderful spouses, and four grandchildren.  Judy has worked in the accounting field for over 40 years and the investment related field for 17 years.  After her first trip to Tanzania in 2013, she fell in love with the people of Tanzania, and wanted to do more to help.  So, she accepted the invitation to join the board in 2014, and became the Treasurer for the ministry.

Karen Harness

Medical Director/Coordinator

Karen is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with over 31 years of experience in the medical field- both in surgery and emergency medicine. She obtained her masters from UAB in 2008 in International Public Health with a concentration in water, hygiene and sanitation. Karen puts all of this experience to use by organizing medical teams, planning and running our medical clinics, as well as supervising and teaching public health education. She has been on the Board of Directors since 2004.  Karen has been a member of NorthClay Baptist Church since 1993, and serves as the Awana Commander for children. Karen has made multiple trips to Tanzania.

Susan Padgett

Susan has served on the Board of Directors since 2002.  She has served in many different roles through out the years such as Treasurer and Secretary.  Susan and her family live in Birmingham, AL and are members of Philadelphia Baptist Church.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Alabama and is a CPA.  She serves as the Director of Performance Measurement with Highland Associates, where she has worked since 1993.  Susan took her first trip to Tanzania in 2013.

George Yeager

Chairman & Co-Founder

George, along with Pastor Rejoice Ndalima of Tanzania, established RHMi in 2001.  George has been on the Board of Directors since the beginning of the ministry.  He and his family live in Birmingham, AL.  He has 4 children and 8 grandchildren and attends a local church in Birmingham.  George is passionate about missions and his love for Jesus Christ.  As a young man he was involved in youth activities at church as well as boy scouts where he became an Eagle Scout at the age of 14.  George proudly served in the US Army.  After serving in the Army, he graduated from college in 1976, in Accounting.  He is a CPA and had a practice in accounting for 25 years.  He also became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).  George sold his CPA practice as his early retirement plan so he could do missions and practice as a CFP.  He is fulfilling his dream of missions and money management.
